Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential risks
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a positive environment
Prepare and submit detailed incident and activity reports as directed by Allied Universal policies and client requirements
Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions and notify appropriate personnel as needed
Follow all armed post protocols and procedures as required by Allied Universal and client-specific guidelines
Qualification
Required
An armed guard card or license is required
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
