Responsibilities
Learns how to identify, analyze and apply information to support environmental compliance and management system obligations
Assists operations by performing audits and floor walks to identify improvement opportunities
Assists with training and coaching operations personnel on environmental obligations
Participates in developmental assignments and training to gain experience
Assists management in identifying issues and proposing resolutions
Performs activities according to project plans and schedule
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering or other related engineering or environmental discipline; others may apply
Registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
Graduation date of December 2027 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Available to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
Available to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
Must be able to work on site. Remote project work opportunities may arise on a case-by-case basis
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
Preferred
Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with environmental inspections and data collection/management
