Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to the drafting team, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring that all team members are performing at their best
Oversee all drafting projects from start to finish, including coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met
Review and approve drafts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards and project requirements
Mentor and train drafting team members to improve their skills and knowledge and provide ongoing feedback and support for professional growth
Manage resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and software, to optimize productivity and meet project deadlines
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in drafting technology and software, and provide guidance on best practices and tools to improve efficiency and quality
Work closely with engineering, design, and project management teams to coordinate drafting efforts and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
Maintain accurate records of project details, including drawings, specifications, and revisions, and provide regular reports on project status and performance
Qualification
Required
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly and concisely
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in all drafting activities
