Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other modern data visualization tools
Partner with business units (e.g., Operations, Field Engineering, Asset Management) to gather requirements and translate them into analytical and technical solutions
Develop and maintain robust data models, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity
Integrate data from multiple sources, including real-time equipment and sensor data
Apply data visualization best practices to communicate insights clearly and effectively
Continuously evaluate and adopt new data management, analytics, and visualization technologies
Educate and support stakeholders on analytics tools, metrics, and data literacy best practices
Advocate for data-driven decision-making and support digital transformation initiatives
Engage with technology vendors and external partners as needed
Provide support for business continuity through additional related duties as required
Occasional travel to meet with stakeholders

Required

Strong experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling
Solid understanding of relational database architecture and database design
Hands-on experience with data visualization and analytics tools, including: Power BI, Sigma (preferred), Tableau, Spotfire
Experience creating complex dashboards, reports, and semantic models
Proficiency with DAX and analytical calculations
Experience translating data into actionable business insights
Familiarity with application development concepts and data integration patterns
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with new technologies
Strategic, critical, and creative thinker with a passion for improving business outcomes through data
Highly detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to take initiative
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
Strong analytical skills with the ability to capture, interpret, and analyze complex datasets
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business users
