Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and support secure network architectures across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
Configure, manage, and support firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation solutions
Administer routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and core network services
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam, Datto, and Azure-based backups
Support and secure Azure networking components including virtual networks, security groups, and firewall policies
Monitor and respond to security events and network issues, including investigation and remediation
Support identity and access security including MFA and Conditional Access in hybrid environments
Partner with systems and cloud engineers on infrastructure projects, migrations, and modernization efforts
Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across multiple MSP client environments
Create and maintain network diagrams, security documentation, and recovery plans
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients on network security, resiliency, and best practices

Required

5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, network security, or MSP environments
Strong experience with firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and secure network design
Prior experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP)
Solid understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts and tools
Experience supporting on-prem, cloud, and hybrid network environments
Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working across multiple client infrastructures
