Etched is a pioneering company focused on building an AI inference system specifically designed for transformers. They are seeking a Technical Recruiter (Supercomputing/ML) to manage the full-cycle recruiting process and engage with top technical talent in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Own the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing through offer, ensuring top-of-funnel quality and fast, high-signal decision-making
Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and advocate for both candidates and company needs
Attend AI meetups, technical conferences, and community events to proactively build pipelines
Source candidates in unconventional places—e.g., GitHub repos, preprint authors on arXiv, contributors to Apache mailing lists, or insightful Twitter threads
Facilitate structured interview loops, track candidate performance, and lead debriefs alongside hiring managers and leadership
Manage offers and close processes in collaboration with hiring managers and the CEO
Continuously improve our recruiting systems, workflows, and candidate experience

Required

5+ years of experience recruiting technical talent in highly competitive markets
Can evaluate both technical depth and cultural fit with nuance and clarity
Are resourceful in finding exceptional candidates beyond the obvious platforms
Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building systems from scratch
Care deeply about candidate experience and operational excellence

Preferred

Familiarity with the AI, semiconductor, or hardware engineering talent landscape
A track record of hiring exceptional engineers in niche or emerging fields
