Responsibilities
Serve as the leader of a field crew, taking charge of boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic data collection, and construction staking
Operate and adjust instruments such as total stations and GPS/GNSS receivers, including Trimble hardware and software
Interpret engineering plans, legal descriptions, and deeds to collect data necessary for accurate survey work
Stake accurately using alignments, templates, and detailed construction plans
Keep your team informed and interact effectively with other disciplines on shared projects
Represent Galloway in a way that strengthens client relationships
Drive new business development by delivering excellent work that clients trust
Manage your crew with a calm and capable demeanor
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma or GED is required
Minimum 4 years of field experience in land surveying
Preferred
Experience with laser scanning instruments is an added asset
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
