RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Lead Java Engineer to guide and mentor a team as they transition after the current lead's retirement. The role requires strong expertise in Java, Spring, and various API management tools, as well as experience in DevOps practices.

Current lead on the team is retiring
Java 17-21 experience is a must
Spring & Spring Boot
Apigee experience (Very nice to have)
Must have experience with SOAP & REST
Not just a developer, needs a lead that can guide, mentor, and help when needed
Kubernetes / Docker containers
Apigee API Management
SQL and DB2 – scripting and stored procedures
Kafka - data streaming
Devops – Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, SNYK
Agile / Scrum methodologies
APM tools (ie AppDynamics, Splunk Observability)
Prompt AI / Agentic AI tools (ie Github CoPilot, ChatGPT, Cursor
