Responsibilities
Edit podcast episodes and provide sound design as required
Work with audio producers on podcasts
Engineer recordings as required
Provide cuts of audio for podcasts for multi-platform usage including video using tools such as Descript
Provides timely, accurate, and complete delivery of multimedia elements and publishes to various platforms
Publishes audio clips of podcasts for various usage including social media
Qualification
Required
Experience in audio/video production
Love of the podcasting medium
Familiarity with non-linear editing software such as Descript, Adobe Audition, ProTools, Logic
Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets and Drive
Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
Experience managing logistics and working to deadline
Excitement about the nexus of entertainment, marketing, social media and audience building
Enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in an accredited college/university
Must be enrolled in a college/university
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Preferred
Experience with audio/video editing, podcasting, and finding archived content
Familiarity with the overall podcast landscape
Previous podcast editing experience
