SATCOM Test & Evaluation Engineer

The SATCOM Test & Evaluation Engineer will work within a systems engineering team to support the development and integration of satellite communication systems for the US Space Force, focusing on Test and Evaluation activities.

Responsibilities

Develop T&E strategies, Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) content, verification plans, test objectives, test procedures, and evaluation criteria
Collect, analyze, and report T&E data
Supporting implementation of common Test and Evaluation database for the program
Supporting development of DoD compliant deficiency reporting and resolution system
Participate in T&E reviews, audits, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Deficiency Review Boards (DRBs), Materiel Improvement Process Review Boards (MIPRBs), and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)
Support and observe test execution at DoD and contractor facilities

Qualification

Test & Evaluation experienceSystems engineering experienceSATCOM system testingINCOSE CSEP/ESEP certificationBachelor's degree in engineeringProficiency with Microsoft OfficeCommunication skillsTeamwork skillsPresentation skills

Required

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related technical field
3–5 years of experience supporting or executing multi-faceted test activities
Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred

Top Secret clearance
3–5 years of Test & Evaluation experience with DoD/USAF processes
Master's degree in a relevant technical field
Experience with SATCOM system testing
5+ years of systems engineering experience
INCOSE CSEP/ESEP certification
Experience working with military or DoD civilian partners
