Responsibilities
Develop and implement the HDR Indigenous Strategy, including feasibility studies, program proposals, budget planning and identification of potential funding sources
Engage meaningfully with Indigenous communities, faculties and key stakeholders to co-design initiatives that support Indigenous HDR enrolment, retention and completion
Embed cultural safety and Indigenous knowledge systems within HDR programs and practices
Oversee the allocation of funding to support Indigenous HDR student development and research
Qualification
Required
Experienced project manager
Strong stakeholder relationship skills
Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety, inclusion and respectful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities
Valid working rights at the time of submission
Current ACT working with vulnerable people registration or a Police Check
Preferred
Knowledge of the Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program lifecycle
