Responsibilities

Analyzes the financial performance of ACA lines of business
Leads the rate development and filing efforts including competitive analysis, network analysis, risk adjustment, trend, actuarial value analysis, rate adequacy review

Qualification

ASA designationHealthcare actuarial experienceBachelor's DegreeSQL programmingHealth plan dataHealth pricing experienceProject management skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial, Finance, or a related field
Coursework/Training and Successful completion of 4+ exams of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
5 years of Healthcare actuarial experience
Experience with writing queries in SQL or another programming language
2 years of Actuarial experience
Demonstrated experience applying project management skills in data-related and financial analysis projects

Preferred

Experience working with health plan data
Actuarial experience in individual or small group market
Health pricing experience
