Responsibilities
Prepare individual and business tax returns. Ratio is about 60/40 individual to business. Limited multi-state
Assist with off season projects such as tax projections, reasonable compensation studies, tax notice resolution
Conduct tax research as needed
Handle client communications through portal messaging, phone calls, and video meetings
Qualification
Required
Must have CPA firm experience
10+ years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm
Prior experience and interest in working with offshore staff
Ability to work independently as well as the ability to work well with clients and team members
Past experience working in a fully remote workplace
Comfortable working directly with clients, explaining complex tax issues in easy-to-understand terms
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Technically strong
Enjoys working in a technology-friendly environment
