Hobart Filler Metals is seeking a Packaging Operator to work in their packaging department. The role involves operating various packaging machines, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while maintaining productivity expectations.

Responsibilities

Load and unload 190 and/or 600 lb reels by rolling them into and out of the payoff mechanism

Able to lift up to 25 lbs on a continual basis

Set up and change over the machine efficiently

Perform quality checks per control plans

Follow safety protocols and operate in a safe manner

Transfer data/information clearly and accurately

Operate the machine at specified production rates

Ensure correct information is on the label and apply all labels to product

Troubleshoot basic issues on the equipment

Work overtime as needed

Operate a forklift (Drum Pack Only)

Required

Run one or more type of packaging machine

Follow all safety and quality requirements

Meet productivity expectations consistently
