Responsibilities

Support two studies of bystander behavior in young adults

Participant recruitment and communication

Participant tracking and retention

Reviewing data quality and managing datafiles

Managing participant payments

Documenting project procedures

Programming screening surveys and assessment batteries

Assisting with preparing data for analysis

Supporting all investigator research needs

Conducting virtual research participant sessions via Zoom

Consent tracking

Implementation of study protocols

Administering study measures

Training research assistants

Generating and maintaining project documentation

Conducting library research as needed

Assembling requested materials for IRB modifications, manuscript and presentation preparation, and progress reports

Collection, organization, scoring, and management of data

Assisting with data analysis

Required

BA or BS in psychology or related field with (3-5 years) experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with human subjects' research related to subject matter (e.g., sexual violence, alcohol)

Required to work evening or weekend hours up to 2 days/week for participant sessions

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize effort to meet project goals

Openness to and keen interest in learning new skills

Proficiency in Word and Excel

Preferred

Experience with statistical software (SPSS or R)

Coursework in research design

Experience in programming online surveys in Qualtrics and MetricWire/Catalyst

Experience managing databases

Coursework in addiction, substance abuse, and/or interpersonal violence

Experience with management of ecological momentary assessment data

Experience with or interest in social media/marketing
