They are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead and scale their finance function, overseeing financial planning, accounting, reporting, and internal controls while partnering closely with executive leadership.

Responsibilities
Lead all core finance functions including accounting, FP&A, treasury, and financial reporting
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning
Partner with executive leadership on company strategy, capital planning, and cost optimization
Oversee cash management, liquidity planning, and crypto-related treasury activities
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
Manage external partners including auditors, tax advisors, and banking/crypto service providers
Design and improve internal controls, policies, and financial processes as the company scales
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team over time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
8+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including leadership roles
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Experience working with complex financial structures, multi-entity environments, or international operations
Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a hands-on capacity
Excellent communication skills and comfort working with remote, cross-functional teams
Preferred
CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
Prior experience in crypto, fintech, digital assets, or high-growth technology companies strongly preferred
Experience with crypto accounting, digital asset custody, or on-chain activity reporting
Background in startups or venture-backed companies
Familiarity with regulatory considerations related to digital assets
