Responsibilities
Coordinates and handles the Branch’s professional licensing operations, ensuring accuracy, and timeliness
Reviews and evaluates documents and forms submitted by premium finance companies to confirm adherence to statutory and regulatory guidelines
Maintains and updates the database of applicants and licensees, ensuring accuracy and completeness of essential data elements
Prepares periodic reports on licensing activities, regulatory actions, and legal actions, which undergo internal review for accuracy and completeness before being submitted to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) for nationwide access by other jurisdictions
When necessary, the specialist also communicates directly with other jurisdictions to provide additional information or resolve specific inquiries
Qualification
Required
Specialized experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position to be filled
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the line of progression
