Senior Product Manager
Our client is a rapidly growing retail and e-commerce brand seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead high-impact product initiatives across its digital commerce ecosystem. This role focuses on driving innovation in web, mobile, and omnichannel retail journeys, as well as AI-powered shopping experiences for millions of customers.
Responsibilities
Own the product strategy and roadmap for core shopping surfaces: PDP, PLP, search & discovery, mobile app journeys, and checkout
Define product hypotheses, run discovery, validate concepts with data, and drive feature development from ideation to launch
Apply customer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis to inform product direction
Translate business objectives into clear outcomes, feature requirements, and measurable KPIs
Lead AI-powered initiatives, including personalized homepages, recommendations, semantic search, dynamic promotions, and automated content generation
Partner with Data Science and Engineering to define model requirements, experimentation plans, and integrate ML capabilities into customer-facing products
Build features supporting digital and physical retail integration: BOPIS, ship-from-store, real-time inventory, and unified loyalty programs
Collaborate with Retail Operations to align product features with store workflows and operational constraints
Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Partner with Engineering and Design to run sprints, evaluate trade-offs, and drive timely delivery
Champion experimentation through A/B testing, multivariate testing, and rapid iteration
Build dashboards to measure feature impact and communicate insights to leadership
Conduct user research, usability testing, and journey mapping to understand customer behavior
Use analytics tools (Amplitude, Looker, GA4, BigQuery, SQL) to evaluate performance and identify optimization opportunities
Stay current with e-commerce trends, retail tech innovations, and competitive landscape shifts
Work with Engineering, Design/UX, Marketing, Merchandising, Data Science, and Retail Operations to deliver cohesive product experiences
Communicate product decisions, roadmap updates, and business outcomes to leadership and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years of product management experience on consumer-facing digital products
Experience in e-commerce, retail tech, marketplaces, or high-scale consumer technology
Strong technical fluency: APIs, microservices, data structures, and ML concepts
Hands-on experience with experimentation, A/B testing, and test design
Proficiency with analytics tools: Looker, Amplitude, GA4, BigQuery, SQL
Demonstrated ability to lead projects end-to-end and deliver measurable results (CVR, AOV, retention, LTV)
Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience in a growth-stage company (~500–2,000 employees) preferred
Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; MBA or technical degree a plus
