Responsibilities

Assembles all medical record types according to standard chart order

Utilizes Meditech discharge lists to monitor the completion of all daily discharges

Reviews assembled record for required contents and accurately completes the medical record completion form for any missing items (includes reviewing Meditech PCI for dictated reports that may need e-signature)

Records accurately any physician incomplete record item into the Meditech Incomplete Record program

Records and reprints any missing record documentation such as the Laboratory Discharge Summary, Radiology reports, and Nursing Documentation
