Responsibilities
Oversee the layout of the restaurant and make sure tables are cleared and reset
Greet each Guest with a smile and a welcome
Explain and direct our system of seating
In charge of communicating volume levels to Management and Staff
Listen and take direction both from Guests and Management
Operate handheld payment devices and cash when necessary
Assist regular Hosts as needed
Qualification
Required
Team Player with a sense of humor
Smiles easily and often
Must demonstrate good math and communication skills
Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. frequently
Position requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workday
Works well in a group and under some stress
Preferred
Pleasant phone voice and etiquette
Listens and takes direction both and from Guests and Management
Must have excellent menu knowledge
Must be able to operate handheld payment devices and cash when necessary
Be able to multi-task and assist regular Hosts as needed
