Research Assistant I (Psychology) (ReNew) - 2 Positions

Responsibilities
Conduct recruitment of research participants
Screen potential participants for study eligibility
Conduct structured diagnostic interviews
Administer computerized self-report questionnaires
Train participants to complete mobile app surveys
Monitor compliance of mobile app surveys
Utilize tactics to enhance compliance and retention
Administer qualitative interviews to research participants
Enter data and maintain databases
Support day-to-day clerical operations in support of research
Support manuscript preparation
Perform additional duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field
Minimum one years' experience working in psychological research
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in written communication skills
Ability to work with diverse groups/populations
Willingness to commute to and from research sites in the state of Rhode Island
Willingness to occasionally conduct interviews early or late in the day as well as on weekends
Must have own transportation
Preferred
Experience working with people who use substances
Experience with human subjects research with populations who use substances
Familiarity with diagnostic assessments for trauma and substance use
Experience with ecological momentary assessment
Experience with qualitative methods
Experience performing statistical analyses
