Responsibilities

Provide QA input across all project phases, including technical design and development activities

Ensure that all testing and analyses are completed on-time, as required

Lead problem-solving sessions with development staff to address quality issues

Offer oversight and guidance to QA team members, ensuring project milestones are met in accordance with standards

Conduct audits and inspections to monitor quality standards on the production floor

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine quality assurance processes

Maintain documentation and ensure technical feasibility of new product features from development stages

Act as a technical expert within the domain, responsible for specifications and requirements documentation

Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency

Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of quality and excellence

Oversee the implementation and adherence to the Sensory Program

Oversee testing and reporting on Food Safety and regulatory compliance and concerns about microbial management with actionable recommendations

Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies

Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation

Complete assigned Health & Safety trainings

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management)

Proven experience in a QA leadership role, preferably in a production environment

Excellent leadership and team management abilities

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills
