Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for Engineering support tickets related to infrastructure availability and performance
Perform routine maintenance on AWS EKS clusters, including version upgrades (control plane and worker nodes) and updating associated deployments/add-ons (e.g., CoreDNS, VPC CNI)
Execute monthly and ad-hoc patching cycles for both Linux (Amazon Linux/Ubuntu) and Windows Server instances to ensure security compliance
Maintain and troubleshoot IIS (Internet Information Services) configurations on Windows-based workloads

Required

5+ years of experience managing production AWS environments (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudWatch)
Proven experience operating AWS EKS clusters, including node group management, ingress controllers, and pod-level troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes operations, upgrades, and cluster add-ons (e.g. CoreDNS, VPC CNI)
Proficiency in administering Windows Server environments
Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IIS (Internet Information Services)

Preferred

Ability to read, maintain, and update existing Terraform modules to minimize infrastructure drift
Experience managing Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP, including volume management and integration with Linux and Windows clients
Experience administering Windows Active Directory, including users, groups, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Experience integrating Active Directory with applications such as Jenkins
