Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement advanced backend services and robust automation frameworks to optimize internal workflows and large-scale systems
Drive the identification, design, and implementation of automation opportunities across development, deployment, monitoring, and operations
Define and maintain best practices for automation, coding, testing, documentation, and secure software delivery
Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions; mentor and share expertise with teammates
Collaborate with product management, DevOps, operations, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule
Ensure automation solutions adhere to organizational security, privacy, and compliance requirements
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and continuously improve system reliability and scalability
Contribute to the strategic vision for automation within the backend engineering group
Qualification
Required
Deep understanding of backend technologies
Strong automation expertise
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams
Experience with Linux systems
Experience with Oracle PL/SQL tasks
Ability to architect, design, and implement advanced backend services
Ability to drive the identification, design, and implementation of automation opportunities
Ability to define and maintain best practices for automation, coding, testing, documentation, and secure software delivery
Ability to lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions
Ability to mentor and share expertise with teammates
Ability to collaborate with product management, DevOps, operations, and other engineering teams
Ability to ensure automation solutions adhere to organizational security, privacy, and compliance requirements
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Ability to continuously improve system reliability and scalability
Ability to contribute to the strategic vision for automation within the backend engineering group

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
