Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist
Scentiment is one of the fastest-growing eCommerce fragrance retailers in the United States, recognized for its innovative approach to the online fragrance market. They are seeking a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to scale their Shopify eCommerce platform by identifying friction points and driving measurable revenue impact through structured experimentation.

Responsibilities
Own and execute Scentiment’s CRO strategy across the Shopify storefront
Analyze user behavior using GA4, Shopify Analytics, Hotjar/Clarity, and other insights tools
Identify and prioritize conversion opportunities across PDPs, PLPs, cart, checkout, and post-purchase experiences
Build and maintain a data-backed CRO roadmap aligned with business goals
Design, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across UX, messaging, offers, pricing, and funnels
Develop clear hypotheses, success metrics, and test documentation
Ensure proper test setup, clean data, and statistical significance
Turn test learnings into scalable, long-term improvements
Optimize product pages, landing pages, mobile experience, and checkout flow
Improve conversion rate, AOV, retention, and LTV through UX and behavioral insights
Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and marketing teams to implement winning tests
Test and optimize bundles, upsells, cross-sells, subscriptions, and promotional mechanics
Track performance and clearly communicate results, insights, and recommendations
Share learnings with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and faster iteration
Help build a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement at Scentiment
Qualification
Required
2+ years of hands-on CRO experience in eCommerce
Strong experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus
Proven ability to drive statistically significant improvements in conversion and revenue
Deep understanding of UX principles, consumer psychology, and online buying behavior
Experience with CRO and analytics tools (VWO, Convert, Optimizely, GA4, etc.)
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action
Preferred
Experience working with high-growth or high-revenue eCommerce brands
Familiarity with DTC funnels, subscriptions, bundles, and promotional testing
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge or comfort collaborating with developers
Strong understanding of mobile-first eCommerce optimization
Experience optimizing beyond CVR (AOV, LTV, retention, repeat purchase rate)
