New Grad, Entry LevelDAC Beachcroft is a leading international legal business seeking a Legal Secretary to join their CSG team. The role involves providing administrative support to lawyers and the secretarial team, ensuring efficient service delivery to clients.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Type and proofread legal documents from digital dictation and speech recognition
Prepare paper/electronic bundles and use of e-bundling software
Filing, scanning, copying and archiving
Book travel and arrange client meetings
Access internal/external portals to upload/download documents
Support lawyers with admin tasks and deadlines
Liaise with the team to keep workflows on track
Assist with billing and financial queries
Maintain accurate client data and update systems
Contribute to ad hoc business development and communication activities (i.e. creating branded PowerPoint presentations, contact reports, mail merges in Word etc.)
Qualification
Required
Prior experience working as Legal Secretary, Legal Administrator, or similar is essential - ideally within the legal or professional services sector
Highly skilled in the Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
Skilled in audio typing with demonstratable experience
Good knowledge of financial/billing practices and processes
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Client-focused with excellent organisational and communication skills
A collaborative team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
Demonstrates alignment with the Firm's Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive)
Preferred
Hold a secretarial NVQ/Diploma or equivalent (this would be desirable, but not essential)
