Business Finance Analyst – Chlor Alkali & Vinyls

Responsibilities

Prepare various monthly financial reports packages around energy reporting, parlay volumes, profitability by product, site and by terminal
Collaborate with Commercial, Cost/Revenue Accounting and Operations teams to explain actual results and forecast variances
Identify opportunities for automation and standardization in reporting workflows by leveraging the latest technology solutions to enhance process efficiency and accuracy
Responsible for the financial administration of the third-party contracts related to Chlorine and Cell Effluent
Collect and compile financial data inputs from cross-functional teams
Assist in preparing monthly forecasts and quarterly estimates, ensuring alignment with business drivers and historical trends

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting in the manufacturing industry
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power query; SAP experience preferred
Ability to establish databases
Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Robust critical thinking, initiative, analytical skills, proactive approach, and creativity
Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university

Preferred

CPA, CMA or other certifications preferred
Proficiency in SAP experience preferred
Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
