Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow
Collaborate with senior developers and architects on solution design
Bring your public health perspective to technical discussions and design decisions
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
Write clean, well-documented, testable code that follows team standards
Learn and apply Salesforce best practices through code reviews and mentorship
Help translate public health requirements into technical implementations
Ask questions, seek feedback, and continuously improve your craft
Qualification
Required
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TEAM MEMBER WITH GOVERNMENTAL PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERIENCE (LOCAL / TRIBAL / STATE / FEDERAL)
SALESFORCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE
1-2 years of hands-on Salesforce development or administration experience
1+ years working for a governmental public health agency (local, state, federal, or tribal)
Salesforce Administrator certification required
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform
Basic understanding of Apex, SOQL, or similar programming languages
Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools (Flow, Process Builder, validation rules)
Understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts
Exposure to version control (Git) or willingness to learn
Preferred
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
Experience with Lightning Web Components or other JavaScript frameworks
Familiarity with Agile or SAFe methodology
Background in public health data systems, case management, or epidemiology workflows
Trailhead Ranger status or significant Trailhead completion
