Responsibilities
Designing simple and complex bridges (primarily of concrete and steel construction)
Development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) packages
Field inspections
Performing construction design support services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited 4-year engineering college
5+ years of experience in bridge and retaining wall projects
Experience designing transportation related structures projects to Caltrans and local agency standards
Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications with Caltrans Amendments
Proficiency using CADD
Strong leadership skills and desire to deliver the highest quality projects to our clients
Proficient in MS Office (WORD and EXCEL)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Master's degree is preferred
California Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred
Preference for knowledge of CTBridge, CSiBridge, VBent, CTAbut, LPile, and/or similar analysis programs
AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
