Responsibilities
Support the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data platforms using Azure SQL, On-Prem SQL, Azure Storage, Microsoft Dataverse, and Power BI Data Warehouse
Assist with data integration and ETL processes, leveraging SFTP, SQL Log Shipping, and Azure Data Factory (or similar tools)
Help enforce data governance, security, and compliance policies using Microsoft Purview, Defender Suite, and Azure Sentinel
Participate in the design and optimization of data models, pipelines, and reporting solutions in Power BI/Fabric
Manage data lifecycle, quality, and documentation for structured and unstructured data (CSV, TSV, JSON, API-based integrations)
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and reporting teams to automate data workflows and support CI/CD for data assets
Monitor and tune data systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
Advise on best practices for data access, privacy, and regulatory compliance
Stay current with new data technologies and integration patterns as the organization evolves
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or analytics roles
Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, On-Prem SQL, Azure Storage, and Power BI Data Warehouse
Familiarity with data integration methods (SFTP, SQL Log Shipping, ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory)
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance (Purview, Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID)
Skills in data modeling, analysis, and visualization (Power BI, Fabric)
Proficiency with flat file formats (CSV, TSV, JSON) and API-based data integration
Good documentation and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with AWS and Google Cloud data services (Redshift, S3, BigQuery, Dataflow, etc.)
Familiarity with additional ETL tools and Power BI connectors
Experience with automation and infrastructure as code (Terraform, PowerShell, YAML)
Multi-cloud or hybrid environment experience
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Analytics)
Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
