Servicenow ITSM Developer
Tesslogs IT Solutions is seeking an experienced ITSM Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow customization, implementation, integrations, and platform upgrades. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying end-to-end ServiceNow ITSM implementations based on business requirements.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end ServiceNow ITSM implementations based on business requirements
Strong hands-on development using JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Client Scripts)
Customize UI using HTML, CSS , and ServiceNow UI frameworks to enhance user experience
Configure and customize out-of-the-box (OOTB) ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management
Develop and maintain custom workflows, Flow Designer flows, approvals, and automation
Implement and customize CMDB and Discovery , including data models and relationships
Build and maintain custom Business Rules , validations, and server-side logic
Design and develop REST/SOAP integrations with third-party systems using REST APIs
Develop custom web services, inbound/outbound integrations, and data synchronization solutions
Lead and support ServiceNow platform upgrades , patching, and release management activities
Ensure upgrade-safe customizations and adherence to ServiceNow best practices
Configure application fields, forms, views, UI policies, ACLs, roles, notifications, and email templates
Monitor system performance, analyze issues, and implement performance optimizations
Build and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and portals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
Provide technical guidance and contribute to system and user documentation
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow customization, implementation, integrations, and platform upgrades
Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end ServiceNow ITSM implementations based on business requirements

Proven experience in ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and upgrades
Strong integration experience using REST APIs, web services, and middleware
Solid understanding of ServiceNow OOTB capabilities and configuration vs customization
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow data model, CMDB, and Discovery
Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and optimization
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
ServiceNow Certifications (CSA, ITSM, CIS, or other module certifications) are a plus
