Real Estate Associate
KFO is seeking a Director of Fundraising with a real estate background to build and steward an elite donor capital network for VANGUARD, a national governance initiative. The role involves leading donor cultivation and institutional partnerships while overseeing major events and aligning donor strategies to support policy development and community security.
Responsibilities
Host social engagements including weekly dinners, monthly conferences, and quarterly banquets/galas
Identify, cultivate, and solicit major donors capable of six- and seven-figure commitments
Develop tailored engagement strategies aligned with VANGUARD’s mission in policy, national security, and community protection
Lead outreach for the March Gala, coordinating invitations, donor briefings, and recognition pathways
Collaborate with BLACKPAGE team
Oversee donor stewardship and ensure transparent impact reporting for VANGUARD programs
Represent VANGUARD at policy briefings, security forums, summits, and philanthropic events
Track campaign milestones, donor engagement metrics, and long-term retention indicators
Qualification
Required
Background in real estate, brokerage, luxury property, or client advisory services with strong people-facing experience
Demonstrated ability to cultivate high-trust relationships with high-net-worth individuals or investor networks
Interest in philanthropy, political action, or supporting real-estate-adjacent policy initiatives (e.g., zoning, housing access, community development)
Strong communication, presentation, and hospitality instincts — especially in private dining, event, or client-hosting environments
Comfort engaging with curated intelligence materials (e.g., policy briefings, community impact dossiers) to drive conversation and donor alignment
Confidence operating within high-profile, high-discretion networks across real estate, finance, or philanthropic circles
Preferred
Previous campaign, fundraising, or PAC exposure is welcome but not required
