The Compressor Engineering Intern will support various continuous improvement projects in engineering processes and collaborate with engineering staff to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include learning the details of high-speed rotating equipment and driving to completion projects targeted to simplify engineering tasks and improve customer communication

Individual will be responsible for tracking the progress of their projects and working on multiple different processes at a time

Required

Will have hands on machine assembly or troubleshooting experience

Will have strong communication skills

Will have strong critical thinking skills

Will have technical writing skills, in reports to document findings

Will have strong personal organization and time management skills

Mechanical Engineering: Junior or Senior

Software experience: Microsoft office products

Preferred

Understanding of complex systems and fluids

Critical thinking experience with the drive to learn new skills

Capable of meeting short deadlines

General understanding of engineering sciences and be comfortable engaging in technical communications

Benefits

Interns will receive relocation benefits and short-term housing if they are 50 miles or more from their assigned work location (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada).
