Required

six to eight years of experience in complex commercial litigation

familiarity with all phases of complex commercial litigation including conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, depositions, motions practice, settlement negotiations, and communicating with clients

active California bar license or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible

excellent academic credentials

commitment to the community

superior interpersonal skills

demonstrated record of working well under pressure

exceptional judgment

ability to effectively handle multiple projects

ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action

Preferred

experience in both state and federal court

experience in administrative matters and arbitrations
