Jack Henry is a technology solutions provider focused on digitally transforming community banks and credit unions. They are seeking a Software Engineering Intern for their Developer Enablement team to help integrate AI tools into software development practices and support coaching initiatives.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with AI coaches to design and deliver training materials that help software developers harness AI to improve code quality, accelerate development, and streamline documentation
Serve as a peer coach and trusted resource, supporting development teams in adopting best practices for AI tools, refining prompting techniques, and customizing instructions for optimal results
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle by analyzing engineering metrics, such as cycle time, bug rates, and pull request size, to evaluate the impact of AI coaching initiatives and uncover opportunities for continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or Artificial Intelligence, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028
Demonstrated foundational knowledge of software development principles and a strong interest in the practical application of AI in a modern engineering environment
Must be a U.S. citizen and not require sponsorship for employment authorization now or in the future
Preferred
An enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and collaborating with peers on technical challenges
Familiarity with the concepts of the software development lifecycle (from coursework or class projects) and a curiosity for how AI can improve each stage
A passion for writing high-quality code and a desire to deepen your understanding of essential topics such as code security and testing
