Responsibilities
Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of live trading systems
Monitor production environments, investigate anomalies, and respond to incidents affecting trading activity
Design, build, and maintain automation and tooling (primarily in Python) to reduce operational risk and manual work
Help architect and scale a rapidly growing US production environment
Manage and support live trading applications, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks
Perform deep root-cause analysis and drive long-term reliability improvements
Evaluate and introduce new technologies that improve observability, resilience, and operational efficiency
Work closely with traders and engineers to balance system safety with the need for rapid change
Qualification
Required
Experience operating mission-critical production systems (trading experience is a plus, not a requirement)
Strong Python skills for automation, tooling, and reliability workflows
Solid understanding of Linux and Windows systems, networking, and hardware fundamentals
Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident response, and change management best practices
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex system behavior
Proactive mindset: identifies inefficiencies and drives improvements independently
Clear communicator who can work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred
Prior experience in SRE, production engineering, or infrastructure roles
Exposure to performance-sensitive or real-time systems
Experience supporting live applications under tight uptime requirements
Familiarity with modern observability stacks and automation frameworks
