This role focuses on strengthening patient care, financial stewardship, and organizational resilience while overseeing a dedicated team of auditors and collaborating across various departments.

Responsibilities

Lead an enterprise risk-based audit program that strengthens patient care, financial stewardship, and organizational resilience

Build high-performing teams and partner across the enterprise to drive measurable improvements

Report functionally to the Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees and administratively to the Chief Financial Officer

Oversee an Internal Audit Department that delivers financial, operational, IT, and compliance audits across inpatient and ambulatory sites

Set the enterprise risk-based audit plan, champion quality improvement, and advance best-in-class methodologies aligned to IIA Standards

Develop talent through coaching, competency-building, and knowledge sharing

Oversee budgeting, staffing, co-source vendor management, and on-time reporting to executive leadership and the Audit Committee

Steward strong internal controls, partner to strengthen revenue-cycle integrity, cybersecurity and privacy controls, and regulatory compliance

Lead investigations of fraud, waste, and abuse with discretion and rigor
