The ideal candidate will have a solid background in real estate finance, representing lenders in various financing arrangements, and will manage an independent caseload while supporting junior team members.

Responsibilities

Experience representing lenders in the origination, purchase, sale, securitization, refinancing and restructuring of mortgage and mezzanine loans

Experience advising lenders in complex financing arrangements with multiple layers of debt; negotiating co-lender arrangements and intercreditor agreements

Ability to manage an independent caseload whilst supporting junior members of the team

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients

Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative

Excellent organization and time-management skills

Required

6+ years of experience in commercial mortgage finance

Experience representing lenders in the origination, purchase, sale, securitization, refinancing and restructuring of mortgage and mezzanine loans

Experience advising lenders in complex financing arrangements with multiple layers of debt; negotiating co-lender arrangements and intercreditor agreements

Commercial Real Estate Associate / Counsel with between 6 years experience

Experience representing lenders on a variety of real estate finance matters

Ability to manage an independent caseload whilst supporting junior members of the team

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients

Possess a J.D. from an accredited law school as well as admitted to practice in New York

Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative

Excellent organization and time-management skills
