The intern will assist in maintaining master data, documenting processes, and supporting system configuration, providing hands-on experience in logistics technology platforms.

Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and updating master data records for logistics platforms
Support data quality initiatives and help ensure consistency across regions
Document data usage standards and best practices
Create and update process documentation, user guides, and training materials in Confluence
Organize and maintain documentation libraries for easy access by team members
Collaborate with team members to capture requirements, workflows, and solutions
Support system configuration tasks in BY Network under guidance from senior team members
Participate in testing and validation of configuration changes
Help document configuration procedures and troubleshooting steps
Attend team meetings and training sessions to learn about technology solutions and best practices
Work with product owners and capability leaders to understand business requirements
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work remotely and autonomously
Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Candidates must be within 250 miles of an APL Logistics facility or office
Preferred
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, supply chain engineering, or related field
Interest in logistics technology and digital products
Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence) and data management concepts
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
Benefits
One (1) hour of paid sick time for every thirty (30) hrs worked, and up to a maximum of forty-eight (48) hrs ea calendar yr.
