1+ years expTrue Health is seeking a Junior Accountant to support all aspects of their internal accounting functions. The role involves posting journal entries, updating accounts receivable and payable, and assisting in financial statement preparation and reporting.

Responsibilities
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Assist with other accounting projects
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is required
Working knowledge of and ability to use personal computer and Microsoft Office Products in conduct of job
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
Preferred
Bachelor's degree is preferred
One 1-3 years of accounting experience in a healthcare environment preferred
Knowledge of and/or an ability to quickly learn MIP Financial Software
