Contract Claims Auditor - Lenders
Pro IS, Inc. is a global business and consulting company focused solely on the insurance and reinsurance industries. They are seeking a Contract Claims Auditor to join their audit team, responsible for conducting claims audits and generating high-quality reports that meet client requirements.
Responsibilities
Undertake claims audits, ensuring high quality reports are generated that meet the client requirements
Support one of our clients and apply your expertise specifically across lender-focused insurance products
Review hazard placement, documentation, coverage triggers, and compliance with lender requirements for Mortgage CPI / Lender Placed Insurance
Assess repossessed vehicle damage reviews, skip loss handling, documentation quality, and settlement accuracy for Auto CPI & Blanket Products
Validate GAP claims, settlement calculations, contract compliance, and fraud screening for F&I / GAP
Validate flood losses, lender placed triggers, adjuster reporting, and investor property coverage applications for Flood & Investor Property Programs (IVP)
Assess adjudication, coverage validation, and alignment with program rules for MBI (Mechanical Breakdown Insurance) – Lender Claims (Canada/US where applicable)
Provide insights on program performance, operational risks, and leakage across these Lenders lines of business
Engage with clients to interpret trends, exposures, and compliance issues specific to lender administered products
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of insurance claims experience; ideally with experience auditing claims within blanket and auto/property CPI (Collateral Protection Insurance) - Forced Protection Insurance
Experience adjusting, auditing, and/or managing any of the following claims: GAP, financial indemnity products, mortgage, flood or investor properties
Prior audit experience and a proven ability to develop and sustain client relationships
Bachelor's degree or equivalent claim leadership experience
Strong command of claims standards, regulatory requirements, and lender placed insurance programs
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Highly organized with strong project and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently, exercise judgement, and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; intermediate Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills, knowledge of Access beneficial
Candidates must have their own reliable computer equipment and secure high-speed internet access (no hot spots)
Preferred
Claim adjuster licensure and professional designations such as CPCU, AIC, or equivalent strongly preferred
