Responsibilities

Identify broad network planning, sourcing and deployment problems and areas for analysis, and work collaboratively to synthesize solutions and recommendations with a strong technical, financial and analytical acumen
Identify new areas of opportunity and build programs that tackle complex problems from scratch
Develop strategies to solve diverse economic and business challenges across the network lifecycle
Analyze geographic, technology, and domain markets, from both a demand and supply perspective
Conduct in-depth analysis (internally and externally) to provide insight on market trends and operator strategies, to develop Meta's network investment strategy in both North America and Latin America
Follow current trends, their impact on business strategies, and their implications for creating sustainable network development models
Drive prioritization of opportunities from a market, geography, and partnership perspective
Translate strategies into actionable projects/programs and shepherd to execution phase
Run special projects (e.g., business case development for new initiatives), work collaboratively with broad cross-functional partners to drive execution of projects
Must be able to influence an experienced cross functional team, including network planning and optical engineers across complex and ambiguous problems

Required

Requires Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
Require completion of a graduate-level course, research project or internship involving the following:
Negotiating large, complex infrastructure deals
Understanding of telecom infrastructure back-office frameworks to support network supply chain
Using analytical skills to synthesize market and technical data into strategic plans
Negotiation, partnering, and influencing skills across all levels of an organization
Leading in complex and ambiguous environment
Using analytical skills such as SQL, tableau, visualization, or GIS/mapping
