Responsibilities
Draft, review, and revise finance and loan documentation for complex lending transactions
Support deal teams on multiple active transactions simultaneously
Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution and closing
Conduct legal due diligence and maintain transaction checklists
Contribute to deal structuring and provide issue-spotting across various finance products
Qualification
Required
1-4 years of experience in corporate finance, banking, or commercial lending at a major law firm
Strong academic background
Juris Doctor and admission to at least one U.S. State Bar
Excellent drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Top 25% or GPA 3.5+, honors preferred
North Carolina preferred or willingness to waive in
