Leading large scale engineering projects and providing expert technical guidance
Assessing system interdependencies to determine the best course of action
Mentoring individuals and supporting managers with technical development across the engineering group
Increasing group productivity by sharing broad technical knowledge and sound business judgement
Driving research and development activities and completing complex cost analysis
Qualification
Required
Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
Excellent problem-solving ability supported by strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills with the ability to partner at all levels
Extensive knowledge of bearing design and engineering principles
Strong computer skills including AutoCAD, SolidWorks and MS Office
