Responsibilities
Leading comprehensive estimating efforts for commercial construction projects from concept through final bid
Performing detailed quantity take-offs and developing accurate cost breakdowns
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and bid documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and competitive pricing
Preparing budgets, proposals, and value-engineering options that support project strategy
Maintaining strong subcontractor relationships and expanding the company’s pricing network
Qualification
Required
10+ years of construction estimating experience, ideally in Commercial or Multifamily projects
Ability to commute to Stamford, Connecticut daily
Proficiency with modern estimating software and digital take-off tools
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
