Administrative Assistant -Roanoke Store
Ideal Cabinets is a family-owned business that specializes in high-quality cabinetry solutions. They are seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for customers and vendors while providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.

Responsibilities
Oversee General Office Maintenance
Sending/Receiving Mail & Packages
Ordering Supplies/Keeping Supply room organized and neat
Office Errands & Shopping
Maintain the showroom neatness and organization on a daily basis
Provide General Support to visitors/walk in customers
Answer the main phone lines/field potential Sales Calls
Oversee phone system auto attendant/ recordings
Schedule office activities
Assist or oversee preparation for Office activities/events
Assist with various duties for the administrative staff
Take payments from customers
Assist Salespeople
Assist with pricing and ordering
Enter Sales Orders into the system for Roanoke
Enter Sales Orders into the system for Salem
Enter Change Orders into the system
Maintain Finalized Customer Files & Filing System
Assist with Scheduling/Calendars
Assist with reporting as needed
Assist with putting away showroom samples when returned
Accounts Payable Daily Management – Roanoke & Salem
Key invoices for Roanoke & Salem Daily
Track Vendor Insurance Updates – make sure all vendor insurance is up to date, and that we have a copy of the insurance company’s current form(s)
Assist with Sales Tax record keeping and submit payments online
Assist with posting credit cards and other receipts into the system
Assist with various record keeping duties
Assist Accounting department with various duties, including but not limited to marketing duties, and planning events
Qualification
Required
Professional and organized Administrative Assistant
First point of contact for customers and vendors
General administrative support to employees
Oversee General Office Maintenance
Sending/Receiving Mail & Packages
Ordering Supplies/Keeping Supply room organized and neat
Office Errands & Shopping
Maintain the showroom neatness and organization on a daily basis

Organizational Skills
Excellent Communication Ability
Customer Service Skills— Ability to demonstrate cabinetry and countertop products to walk-in customers
Trustworthy to handle important and sensitive information
Team Player: Willing to do what needs to be done to see the job is complete
Self-Motivated to grow and learn the position
Work well independently
Valid Driver's License
Preferred
Quickbooks Experience is a plus
QuickBooks basic skills a plus, but not required
