Sales Engineer

Tribus Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as the main point of contact between the company and its customers. This role involves generating quotes and proposals, maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate job quoting.

Responsibilities

Evaluate incoming request for proposals / quotes and review all associated technical information and drawings
Receive and process incoming purchase orders, create appropriate documents, and transfer information to operations
Maintain excellent relationships with current customers, and seek to deepen and strengthen the relationships
Serve as the point of contact with customers, requesting clarifying information, suggesting alternative materials and methods, updating progress, etc
Take meetings with customers and give facility tours as needed. Communicate AM&T’s capabilities and sell the value-added AM&T provides to its customers
Prepare and present to our customers recurring status meetings as required
Prepare/update sales forecasts and assist with quarterly budget updates
Strive to achieve goals and KPI’s as defined by General Manager
Other duties as assigned

Required

BS in Engineering
Proficiency with CAD software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent customer service
Excellent problem-solving skills, highly analytical, uses fact-based problem-solving methods
Competitive; takes ownership and demonstrates a bias for action
Responsible, disciplined, and accountable, leads by example… attention to detail
Respect for others, high integrity, operates effectively in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal/team building skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and participate on multi-functional teams
Must be a United States Citizen, or US Permanent Resident

Preferred

Manufacturing Industry experience preferred
BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Proficiency with SolidWorks
Proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
