Responsibilities

Assist the sales team in achieving sales, market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets by strengthening the performance and presence of assigned dealers
Work closely with Regional Managers to roll out and maintain Royal Enfield’s brand identity and retail environment standards across the dealer network
Evaluate dealer financial health, monitor trends, and identify risks. Provide guidance and action plans to support financial improvement, especially for underperforming dealers
Oversee the implementation and management of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) surveys to ensure a high standard of customer experience
Lead the process of identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new dealers using sound business and financial principles to ensure their long-term success
Create and execute strategic action plans to elevate the performance of underachieving dealers and align them with company expectations
Manage regional market representation activities—including addressing open points, buyouts, and performance issues—while ensuring full legal compliance
Identify non-compliance with Dealer Agreement terms and work with stakeholders to create and implement corrective action plans
Lead the resolution of Dealer Agreement-related legal matters in accordance with established company policies
Monitor competitor dealer activity and market shifts and develop proactive strategies to maintain and grow brand competitiveness
Partner with internal teams and dealers on high-impact initiatives to drive growth and operational excellence
Drive business development by enhancing dealer capabilities and expanding into underserved markets
Design and execute initiatives to strengthen Royal Enfield’s brand presence within dealer locations
In coordination with the Aftersales team, build and deliver training programs for dealer sales and technical staff to enhance performance and service quality
Prepare and present performance reports, sales forecasts, and budget summaries to internal stakeholders and leadership

Required

Degree level educated
5+ years of relevant work experience within a Dealer Development role
Experience of working at OEMs is essential
Experience within the Automotive industry is required - Powersports or cars
Understanding of state laws
Experience of working with Legal support
Understanding of how to improve Dealer Performance
Understanding of Key Metrics to monitor dealer performance
An understanding of assigning dealers and Territory
