The Senior Product Manager for the lending platform will oversee the entire lifecycle of the Loan Management System, ensuring compliance with regulations while enhancing user experience and integrating complex banking logic.
Responsibilities
Define the long-term vision for the Loan Management System, ensuring it supports diverse lending products (Mortgages, Bridge Loans, Rent-to-Own)
Stay ahead of KSA fintech trends, analyzing competitors and emerging technologies (Open Banking) to keep Soar at the forefront of the Proptech sector
Manage the product backlog, balancing feature development, technical debt, and regulatory requirements
Design and implement complex calculation engines for amortization schedules, interest rates (fixed/variable), and penalty logic compliant with Islamic Finance principles (Murabaha, Ijarah)
Lead the integration strategy with third-party banking services and national infrastructure, including SIMAH (credit bureau), Nafath (IAM), Yakeen, and SADAD (payments)
Automate the loan lifecycle—origination, underwriting decisioning, disbursement, repayment tracking, and delinquency management—to reduce manual operational load
Ensure all product features strictly comply with SAMA (Saudi Central Bank) regulations and cybersecurity frameworks
Build modules for regulatory reporting and internal financial reconciliation
Work closely with Engineering to define technical specs (APIs,microservices) and with Risk/Compliance teams to embed credit policies into the product
Qualification
Required
5+ years in Product Management, with at least 3 years specifically in Fintech, Lending, or Core Banking
Deep understanding of the Loan Lifecycle (Origination→ Servicing→ Collections)
Technical Fluency: Comfortable discussing API integrations, database structures, and microservices architectures with engineers
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with SAMA regulations and KSA financial infrastructure (SIMAH, Nafath, Open Banking KSA) is highly preferred
Ability to map out complex financial workflows and edge cases
Bilingual: Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is a strong plus for understanding local regulations and user nuance
Startup DNA: You are comfortable with ambiguity, move fast, and are willing to get your hands dirty to ship value
