Senior LevelAlpha Consulting Corp. is seeking an experienced Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer to support the Cardiac Surgery product line at their Grand Rapids, MI facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring supplier quality performance, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement across the supply base.

Responsibilities
Ensure suppliers deliver high-quality materials, components, and services in compliance with Medtronic standards
Lead and participate in supplier-related CAPA, NCMR, and audit activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues
Develop and execute component qualification and PPAP strategies, including control plans and receiving inspection requirements
Evaluate supplier performance and lead supplier change requests
Support internal/external audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to maintain product quality throughout the lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Strong background in Quality Systems and Supplier Controls (FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485)
Proven excellence in Problem Solving methodologies (DMAIC, 8D, CAPA)
Experience with supplier qualification, PPAP, and component validation
Excellent communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Proficiency with SAP, Agile PLM, and TrackWise
